Internship
exposes
you to
the
“behind-the-scenes”
of radio
marketing.
Responsibilities
include
assisting
in the
coordination
of major
station
promotions,
web
promotions,
daily on-air
giveaways
such as
prize
fulfillment
and on-air
contest
scheduling,
and
assisting
in the
execution
of client-related
events
and
appearances.
Duties
also
include
interacting
with
listener
audience
via
telephone,
e-mail,
and in-person,
assisting
in
creating
and
sending
out press
releases,
and
managing
on-air
winner
databases.
Potential
candidates
must
possess
good oral
and
writing
skills,
as well
as be
familiar
with
popular
computer
programs
such as
Microsoft
Outlook,
Word, and
Excel.

Intern

The
LATINA
100.3 FM
sales
team is
looking
for
college
students
interested
in
learning
the
basics of
how a
sales
department
functions.
This
position
will give
you
insight
on how a
radio
spot
makes it
on air.
As part
of the
sales
assistant
team, you
will gain
real life
experience
supporting
our
talented
account
executives.
Responsibilities
include
assisting
in the
order
process,
creation
of sales
presentation
and
recaps,
execution
of sales
driven
promotion,
interacting
with
sales
clients,
management
of daily
reports
and
everyday
office
clerical
duties.
Successful
candidates
will
possess a
basic
knowledge
of
Microsoft
Excel,
Word and
PowerPoint.
They will
have a
good
telephone
manner, a
willingness
to learn
and an
enthusiastic
personality.

hands-on,
real
world
experience
that
cannot be
duplicated
within a
classroom
setting.
Some of
the
duties
include:
Assisting
DJ’s with
music and
artist
research,
Assisting
and
observing
the on-air
DJ during
course of
the show,
Answering
request
lines and
listener
questions,
Tallying
request
statistics,
and on-air
contesting,
and other
miscellaneous
programming
duties.
The
internship
will
expose
you to
behind
the scene
responsibilities
of a
radio
station
programming
and on-air
department.
